Time for Snapping

 

 Over the weekend our beans were ready all at once...


Green, yellow and purple!


"Date night!  Meet me on the front porch!"

    Love fresh beans!! Brings back childhood memories of having to cut the ends off. Well now I cut one end off. Great date on the front porch...the best kind. Blessings, Diane

    Sometimes the best date night is just doing the simple things, such as snapping beans.. or freezing corn..

    Aw so sweet, love the date night...simple times together are the best memories. I have never seen purple beans before. Do they have a name? Do they taste different then the green?

    I remember snapping beans with my mom....beautiful beans and I have never seen a purple one!...

    Nothing like fresh beans picked right from your own garden!! I've never tried a purple bean. Is there a difference in taste from the standard green ones? Have a wonderful Sunday!! : )

    I see for the first time purple beans :) Only green and yellow. I love to cook and eat it fried with onion and eggs.
