I've mentioned a couple times that we're in the process of working on the second phase of our kitchen renovation, so it was absolutely perfect timing when Pfister contacted me a while back. I hadn't really considered installing a new faucet this year, but when I headed over to their website, I found the most gorgeous faucet. Not only was it a faucet that would complement our vintage sink, but its design reminded me so much of the antique well pump in our back yard... it fit our farmhouse aesthetic perfectly.
I'm excited to show it to you in another post and especially thrilled that there will be a couple opportunities for one of you to win one of their beautiful faucets. I know you will love them just as much as I do!
I'm sure many of you have admired Pfister faucets before... Pfister has been making faucets for over 100 years and when I looked around their website in detail, I realized there really was a faucet for every individual style, whether it's kitchen or bathroom. I also love that they have a warranty that covers finish and function for life.
So last week a package arrived in the mail from Pfister, but it wasn't my faucet... it was a faucet for one of you!

This pull-down faucet is European-inspired and called the Hanover... it has two handles, a matching soap dispenser, and my favorite, a high arc. I actually took a couple of the parts out of the box and I was so impressed with its quality. You can tell this is a faucet that will last a long time... and having seen many leaky faucets, that it has a never leak guarantee is a huge deal.
The faucet I selected is also a pull-down and I can't wait to install it. You simply press this little button on the side and it easily pulls down. It also has a spray volume control and swivels.
The finish is Tuscan Bronze... isn't it beautiful?

You can find more details about the Hanover here on Pfister's website.

Wow, how exciting. So happy your going to get one of the Pfister Faucets. It looks absolutely beautiful and if mine weren't working fine I would love to enter, but I do love my faucet so Andrea don't count me in the contest.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your second phase of your kitchen changes. I loved picking out my faucets and hardware for my kitchen. I think my favorite part of my kitchen is my island. So happy for you dear friend.

My favorite thing about my kitchen is the toaster in the wall! Our home was built in the 60s and was very high-tech for it's time- there are speakers in every room, a blender built into the counter and the toaster in the wall. It still works and saves counter space!

ReplyDeleteI just liked Pfister on facebook. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteThanks for liking our page Melissa!
DeleteI love my kitchen. I've lived in my house now for 30 yrs. so I've changed things quite a lot. Although I love the tile, granite, island, color, really everything the favorite part about my kitchen now is it's open to the sitting room and living room. Everyone is always together. No one is closed off. Love you blog by the way. Your girls are adorable. They remind me of my girls when they were little. Now I have 2 granddaughters. Circle of Life. God Bless You. My e-mail is moonbeam276@yahoo.com my blog is repurposed4life.blogspot.com. check it out.
ReplyDeleteSounds beautiful - good luck in the giveaway!
Deleteoh it's beautiful! I have always wanted one like this! It would be so nice to have this to look at (and use :) everyday, especially since I spend so much time in our kitchen.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing in my kitchen is the old farmhouse hutch I got for a steal at an auction. It's 8 feet high with two beautiful tall doors. I store so much in it! We want to move in a few years and I hope hope hope our next place has tall ceilings too. It would be so hard to sell it or leave it behind!
Thank you for such a great give-away! Even though I never comment,I really enjoy your blog!
Your farmhouse sounds gorgeous. Best of luck in the giveaway!
DeleteMy favorite thing about my kitchen is the way the light comes in the window. Something about natural light in the kitchen makes me feel like any meal is possible.
ReplyDeleteMy kitchen table. Not because it's beautiful or anything but because it's where we all gather each morning, sipping hot creamy coffee or fruity tea and talk and talk and talk. Memories being made :-)
ReplyDelete~Cinnamon
my favorite thing is the butcher block table that my father made for us, before he passed away. we use it as an island in front of the stove and it is perfect. it reminds me of him and his craftiness every day.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about my kitchen is the lantern I installed. It was from our front porch (of our 1940 colonial), and we took it down when we put up sconces on the front instead. I couldn't bring myself to part from it, though, so I painted it turquoise and hung it in my kitchen. It makes me smile every time I see it. :) Thanks so much for hosting this!
ReplyDeleteRachel
Oh, and I liked Pfister on facebook. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Rachel, we appreciate it!
DeleteMy favorite thing about my kitchen is it is really big and allows room for lots of folks to gather and visit, and yet not be in the workspace area that is required for preparing a meal. Email ~ ~ ~ agengineer@juno.com
ReplyDeleteHow pretty!!! My favorite thing about my kitchen is that I have a window above the sink to stare out of while I'm doing dishes, preparing meals, or just daydreaming. I love to watch the sunrise through it before the rest of the home wakes up. :-)
ReplyDeleteswishfam4@comcast.net
The faucet is beautiful! My favorite thing about my kitchen is the dinner table. It's used and abused, spotted with mod podge, craft paint, scratched and dented from little fingers learning to use a fork, and sometimes smudged with maple syrup or cake batter toddler finger prints but I love the time spent there!
ReplyDeleteLindykoz@yahoo.com
What a beautiful faucet. Thanks for the opportunity to enter.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite thing in my kitchen is the little breakfast nook in the bay window. Perfect for 2. A small bistro table and 2 chairs, wrought iron. Cozy and romantic... perfect for late night dinners, afternoon coffee, nestled in the bay window with irises growing outside.
Hugs, Gee
Don't know if this is open to overseas entrants, but in case is.
ReplyDeleteFavourite things about our kitchen - that it is all rip-out-able! We are just in the process of buying a very well worn worker's cottage and the kitchen is going to be the first thing replaced. We figured that we will start our redo by getting as much of the lead paint out of the house as we can (we have a 1 year old that chews on everything) and the kitchen is in pretty bad shape - probably original to the 1930s house, so we will just take it out when they strip the lead paint and start from scratch. Your website is a really great inspiration to what is possible.
At the moment we live in a defence house, so my favourite part of that kitchen is the old 1950s newspaper adverts we got mounted and have displayed on the wall.

I love that our kitchen is the center of most everything in our home. It is cozy, yet functional. That faucet is so gorgeous!

DeleteBeautiful faucet! I love that my kitchen is in the center of our home, open to all that is going on. A place where the kids and I can create food for our bodies, and fun memories as we cook together. I love providing for my family in the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteWe are also getting ready to redo our kitchen ! I love the color black compared to the traditional chrome ! Hope your having a great week !

DeleteThe favorite thing about our kitchen is that it is 100% US. We have done all the work, ripping down to 1st layer of subfloor and building back up. Cabnet are either refinished or built by us. It is an ongoing project as we pay as we go (anyother thing to like about it). Would love to add the faucet. Our knobs and pulls are also tuscan bronze.
ReplyDeleteWe have been working on our kitchen since December, slowly but surely. My husband and I installed butcher block countertops with a porcelain sink, both my favorites but our budget didn't allow a new faucette. I have a European country theme with white walls and rubbed bronze hardware (black). This faucette would be PERFECT :) Thank you for the opportunity! denikw90@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI would so love to win my sprayer sticks all the time if I run it with hot water numerous times I have soaked myself love your giveaway
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing? Well, I have a big counterspace where I'm able to do all of my food prep. I also really enjoy my window above my kitchen sink. It's always nice to be able to look out into nature while I'm washing away!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite things in my kitchen are the old signs I have accumulated over the years. I have one for apple sprays and dusts, vegetables, an "Open" sign and a sign for Rice and Hayward biscuits.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway, since I don't have a dishwasher, that faucet would make washing dishes a more enjoyable chore.
My favorite thing about my kitchen is the window over the sink, and the people that hang out in there.
ReplyDelete-Angie
I am actually entering this for my Mom. My favorite thing about her kitchen is it's going to be one floor below mine! We are building a new house and decided for my Mom to live in our basement aka lower level. It's not that she is old enough for our care yet, but this allows her to retire earlier and to be close to our kids. At first it seemed like a hard decision, but after moving in with us once her house sold and seeing my daughters connection with her growing, it has made my excitement grow. I never knew my grandparents well and to know that my children will grow up with theirs so close is just awesome! Jebillups@gmail.com.
ReplyDeleteThe favorite thing about my kitchen is my new stove and refrigerator. I love that faucet! Can't wait to see what your kitchen looks like when it is done.
ReplyDeleteknoedler@windstream.net

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about my kitchen is that I'm going to have one soon! We are still in an apartment, but bought some land and are going to be designing and building our first home! I am excited to put anything that I have always wanted into my kitchen. Your house is an inspiration in our design.
ReplyDeleteThank you Andrea for hosting our Hanover giveaway. We're so excited to see what your faucet will look like in your kitchen, and what the winner's finished product will look like as well.
ReplyDeleteGood luck everyone!
There's not much to love in my kitchen. I have 1980's peel & stick tiles on the floor, wall paper and paint from the 1920's a chipping sink from the 50's and a dripping faucet. However, my upper cabinets are the most beautiful glass fronted storage I have ever seen !!!! They are original to the house and I have been told that it's almost impossible to find replacement glass should it break. Should we ever have the opportunity to remodel the kitchen, I hope to save these beauties.

ReplyDeleteWe live in an earth berm home and I can be standing at the kitchen window and be at eye level with our free-range chickens. It makes doing dishes much more pleasurable, so would a new Pfister faucet! Thank you for a chance at winning one. Amy M.
ReplyDeleteI don't like ANYTHING about my kitchen, except for my accessories within it, we're renters and it's quite awful. We're moving next month though, and a new shiny faucet sure would come in handy then ;)
ReplyDeleteI like Pfister on facebook, they're awesome!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!! What a beautiful faucet, mine is leaking so bad :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about my kitchen is all the windows and the view of both Mt St Helens and Mt Rainer!

In our former home we installed a Pfister faucet and loved its simplicity , great function and how it's style was so easy to keep clean . Ours looked like an old water pump and was in our master bathroom , it went well with the farmhouse style of our home ...... P.S. love your blog Andrea
ReplyDeleteI love that my kitchen has a lot of space.

ReplyDeleteWhat a timely giveaway. We are remodeling a 100 year old home and are now working on the kitchen. The Pfister faucet would be perfect.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about my kitchen is my island. It is an old newspaper table with a stone top and wooden bottom. It came from a local newspaper mill and after it was cleaned off, it makes a beautiful place to prepare food and a great conversation piece.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing is all the space I have to store my wares, other than that, it is in dire need of a make over, which hopefully will happen in the future.
ReplyDeleteThe kitchen is where my family gathers to discuss our day's events.
ReplyDeleteAndrea,
ReplyDeleteI have so enjoyed your blog! Thank you for this opportunity to win a new faucet.
My favorite thing about my kitchen is that it is the center of our home. It may be small and crowded, but when there is a meal being prepared and then shared, it is the center of our home and our family.
Hope you have a great day.
Susan
Liked Pfister on Facebook. I already have one of their faucets in my kitchen and in one bathroom, but I really like the one you are giving away!
ReplyDeleteI live in a condo and my kitchen/dining/living areas are all open to each other. While it wouldn't be my first choice for a kitchen, I do like that one person can be in the kitchen and still interact with others in the living room. It also kind of forces me to keep the kitchen clean since it is always on display!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway! My favorite thing in my kitchen is my large center island where I can stand at my sink and watch and hear our outdoor fountain and catch the sights and sounds of the little finches and hummingbirds play in the water. Rivercovecottage@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this opportunity!! My favorite thing in my kitchen is the windows. It's light and bright and the window over my kitchen sink looks out over a pond. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteReally happy to Like Pfister on Facebook since I use their products all the time.
ReplyDeleteI love my large windows! And thanks for the opportunity to win this, I actually need a new one :)

ReplyDeleteI like the high bar behind the sink. Friends can sit and chat while I am preparing food on the other side.
ReplyDeleteThe general setup!
ReplyDeleteI love my island. Nice and wide with room for guests to sit on one side (out of my way!).
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about my kitchen is my Pergo floor, it's white and looks like old painted wood. I love it! I would love that faucet too, it would match nicely. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteOur kitchen is very small but the my entire family seems to locate in the kitchen! In the winter I enjoy our small wood stove tucked in the end of our kitchen. My favorite part in our kitchen is the windows that overlooks our small farm and fields. I love to look out the windows at our array of barnyard animals, hear the ducks quacking through the open windows, etc.!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy reading your blog. Your daughters are precious.
What an awesome giveaway! That faucet is so gorgeous. We are actually in the market for a new kitchen faucet right now, so it would be perfect if I won! :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about my kitchen is my refrigerator. We got a nice stainless steel refrigerator with a bottom shelf freezer and french doors after moving in and I love it! It makes the whole kitchen look nicer.
Other than my Price Pfister faucet, I love my apron farmhouse sink...I have Price Pfister faucets throughout my home...
ReplyDeleteI always say that if you have to spend lots of time in front of the sink, you need a pretty faucet to look at and my Price Pfister is definitely pretty!..love it and love the giveaway faucet!!!
Just liked Price Pfister on facebook!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful giveaway! The newly remodeled kitchen and bathrooms I had to leave when I got divorced had that color for the faucets, etc. I guess the fav things about my kitchen are the long open shelves. Makes it feel a bit bigger.

ReplyDeleteI liked Pfister on FB (lisamomof5@hotmail.com)
ReplyDeleteOur kitchen needs a total makeover in a very bad sort of way, so about the only plus to it right now is that the walls are yellow (the colour I've always wanted my kitchen to be) and they're decorated with lovely blue and white china. I'm going to have to look into a faucet like this one because the one on our three compartment sink does not move which makes using the center section all but impossible. One with a drop down design like this one would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteThat faucet is gorgeous! My favorite part of my kitchen is the window over the sink looking out to the back pastures. So calming and serene.

ReplyDeleteProbably the only thing I like (it is 1960's, no dishwasher and no money to redo) about my kitchen (well, love), is the old colander I purchased at a flea market and made into a light fixture that hangs over our sink. Until then we didn't have a light over the sink, I don't know what we did without it. reneekern7@gmail.com

DeleteOh my goodness, I don't follow directions well. Here is my additional post letting you know that I like Pfister on FB.
ReplyDeleteThat despite being such a small galley I am maximizing every inch! Raising the ceiling, adding in corner cabinets; instead of just a standard wall line up, will help add dimension to the space. Adding extensive trim to my existing cabinets instead of a costly replacement. A mix of chopping block on one side and Carerra marble on the other is the next installation. Cutting the walls back some helped to bring more light into the space~ The final piece will be a new deep sink basin with a Pfister faucet~ (of course!) Thanks to Magnolia Emporium https://www.facebook.com/MagnoliaEmporium for telling me about this giveaway and stretching my teachers budget a little more!

So glad I found your blog. You have beautiful home and some great ideas.
ReplyDeleteMy kitchen is a work in progress. I've slowly removed the signs of the 70s, and have dreams of further improvements, but I love how large and inviting it has always been. At the holidays everyone gathers around while I'm cooking. We all fit comfortably, so I'm never alone prepping or cleaning up.
Aside from the abundance of sunshine, my favorite thing about my kitchen right now is the potential, lol. We're about to break down the wall into our laundry room and redo the whole area - roomy and bright!
