With Thanksgiving past us, I've been making a few wintery changes around our home. As each new season approaches, I always look forward to adding a few elements to our home that remind me of all the things the season brings.
Pine cones, greenery and hickory nuts have been collected from outside and put out. As always, my decorating tends to be on the simple side, but even the few little touches make me think about all the things I love about this time of year.
You can see more pictures of our dining room decorated for the holiday season over at Kim's today... I'm so happy to be sharing my favorite room (our dining room) over at her beautiful and inspiring blog, Savvy Southern Style.
P.S. My favorite thing in our dining room are the mini grain-sack stockings you see hanging under the mantel. These were an extremely thoughtful gift from my friend, Ann, who always sends me encouraging words... when I opened the package from her, I was gasping. She is so talented and makes the most beautiful things... you can find her Etsy shop here.
Have a wonderful weekend!

It too was simple and plain and beautiful with fireplaces in many rooms and a pump in the kitchen. Love your phone nook. Everything is so serene, classic and charming. Thank you for sharing. xoxo Lynn P.S. I am lucky to have one of Ann's stockings too. Can't wait to bring it out for the season. Have a wonderful weekend.
